Since Monday we started our practice in Fjordskolen in Aabernaa. All of us (three polish girls)were shared for each department. I had practice with one physiotherapy women who take care of me for whole week, than we will change that every girl can see everything in each department.
Now I'm working with children with PDD( pervasive developmental disorders) , Autism, Asperger's disorder .
Children with PDD has reduction in developing functions within areas of:- social communication ,- social imagination in playing and flexible thinking - social interaction
I'm so glad that I have possibilty to see and learn how children and physiotheraphiest are working.Gitte( my "keeper")explains my everyting in detalil so there is no way to not understand even little thing. In department A physiotherapiest works according to sensory integration programme.
Theory in Sensory Integration is relationship between deficits in interpreting sensation from the body and the environment and diffculties with academic or motor learning. Sensory integration cannot be observed. It occurs on the basis of evidence from neuroscience.
On Friday we went to Esbjerg to see University College of physiotherapy. We woke up at 5 o'clock to don't miss a bus to Kolding. Fortunetly after long journey with two changes we got to Esbjerg and what I have to say -there is much colder than in Haderslev. We got off from the bus and then we caught the taxi to the University, I have to say that the campus made for me a big impression. It'is very big and has a lot of departures for example :nursering or social education. Each department has his own bulding. We had to go to Susanne -international coordinator, when we found her she invited us very warm and offer a cup of coffe.5 minutes later we were sitting on the sofa talking about university, pupils, physiotheraphy and about diffrences between danish and polish system of learning. It was really nice because Susanne were in Poland even in Poznan as a teacher so she knew how polish system works.Later she guide us around whole university. Later we had pracitse lessons with students of second year.In spite of we are on the third year , we learned a lot and we teached a lot:).What we had to do was teaching people with spastic how to peel the orange.I was quite suprised because teachers has diffrents technic of teaching on which about I had never heard before. The most suprised thing was that when you help people with diffrents problems you are not allowed to speak to them, becouse you teach them how to do things not only when they are with you but even then when they are alone(and then they will not hear any voices).

After practise lessons we went around of the campus to see all departments accurately. Its reallllllyy big , later on Susanne waited for us to give us a lift to the centre exactly toursit office. We really wanted to see big white mens looking at the sea. In the tourist office we found nice women who explained us how we should get there which bus and so on.It was so windy on the seaside that we wanted only to take some pictures of big white mens and go back to the city centre.Unlucky we ,next bus was in an hour time, so we didint have anything else to do like take a big walk anlongside seaside.Anyway it wasn't so bad idea to stay there longer , cause we found a lot of nice shells, took good pictures and we had little picnic on the stones.:)

No later then one hour we were sitting in the restaurant in the city centre drinking cup of tea, because we were so cold!We decided to go around the market in the Esbjorg and then go back to Haderslev. However we were really cold and tired of this busy Friday but when I was lying in the bad trying to fall asleep I felt so joyful of that day.

Since one week days passed one after another I lost my feeling of time. It is so nice to be here, that when Iwill live this place on May I'm sure I will be crying like a little child. It is amazing that I have possibilty to live with people from around the world, I really enjoy to observe theirs days timetables, what they cook at what time they eat its really imposibble that culture is so different.
Today we had practise day with a lots of adventures :)
We had our practise in Aabernaa , we had bus at 8 20 to be at 9 on the place, but unfortunetly we missed the bus station in Aabernaa and we reached Sonderborg. It was a disaster for us cause we were without money!!we had only for ticket from practice place to Haderslev! Thanks God my friend Gosia had credit card so she paid out money from cash machine and it was ok.
Finally we were in Aabernaa at 11 and we should be there at 9 we were a little bit terrified so we started run from the bus station to practice place. After lots od difficulites with finding a number of this place we got there about 11.30! We thought that our practice coordinator will be very angry and disappointed about our being late but she found it funny.!Louise(our coordinator)invited us very warm, she explained us everything about physiotherpiest job and showed all of rooms where are they working.!We had a little conversation about our practice time in the end of March, what we will be doing and in good humors we went back to Haderslev:)
